Phoenix Suns Sign Early Warning Services as New Jersey Sponsor
Early Warning Services, the Arizona company behind Zelle, will replace PayPal as the Suns' jersey patch partner in a multi-year deal featuring Paze.
The Phoenix Suns have reached a multi-year jersey sponsorship agreement with Early Warning Services, LLC, the Scottsdale-based fintech company best known as the operator of the Zelle digital payments network, the organizations announced Sept. 28, 2026. The deal places the Paze brand — Early Warning's online checkout product — on all Suns game jerseys, succeeding PayPal in that prominent patch position.
The partnership carries notable regional significance, linking one of Arizona's marquee professional sports franchises with a company headquartered in the same state. Early Warning framed the alliance as a reflection of shared Arizona roots, while the Suns gain a financial-technology backer whose underlying Zelle network has grown into a widely used payments tool for American consumers.

Paze is Early Warning's answer to card-based online checkout, positioning the product against established digital wallet competitors. Securing placement on NBA jerseys gives the relatively newer brand immediate, recurring national television exposure throughout the regular season and postseason, a high-visibility platform that jersey patch deals have become known for delivering since the NBA introduced them in 2017.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The partnership marks the latest in a series of fintech companies investing heavily in professional sports sponsorships as the sector competes for consumer awareness and trust in an increasingly crowded digital payments landscape.
